Kathrin Romany Beckinsale, born 26 July 1973.[1][2][3[1][2][3] Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is an English actress from England. After appearing in a few minor TV roles, her film debut was Much Ado About Nothing (1993) while she was a student at the University of Oxford. Alongside numerous stage and radio productions, she also appeared in British costume dramas such as Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), and Shooting Fish (1997). In the mid 1990s, Beckinsale began film work in America. After her small-scale roles in dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), she appeared in war-themed drama Pearl Harbor (2001), the romantic comedy Serendipity (2001) and Tiptoes (2003). After her roles in The Aviator (2004) & Click (2006) in which she appeared as herself. She was a star in Hollywood with roles in the films The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). Beckinsale is still a part of small dramatic projects like Snow Angels (2007) and Nothing but the Truth (2008). The film received a positive review for her performance in the two previous films. In 2016, she was awarded high praise for her performance in the period comedy film Love & Friendship, for which she received a nomination for the Critics Choice Movie Award for the Best Actress in a Comedy. In action films, she returned with Jolt (2021). She also appeared in Jolt (2021), The Widow (1919) and Guilty Party (2021).
