Her win was not only an enormous success, but it earned her a recording contract for several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. From her first appearance in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also near the top. She is one of the most successful artists to have sprung from The American Idol series. To be successful she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with subjects. To acknowledge her talents and distinctiveness, she's received a lot of praise and awards. She was awarded the Grammy Award is her most highly regarded recognition. In addition, she has appeared on movies and on television. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a story for children that she wrote to her daughter.
