But it also performed well around the globe. Swift was able to consolidate her progress by releasing Speak Now almost two year after. Swift's popularity continued to grow through her subsequent three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) -- and found her moving assuredly into the realm of pop in which she was already a part. She stayed in the forefront of pop even when she dropped her signature style in her twin albums Folklore and Evermore in the year 2020.
