Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A superstar who crossed over completely from traditional music into pop culture, turning into a pop icon that will be around forever, and will conquer everywhere. Swift left her heritage in country music as if she was a second skin and proved that she had the best pop sensibility of her generation. Swift was the only artist/singer who could follow the zeitgeist of popular music out on the road. Swift's early songs, including their neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off her skills. However, her album Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was beginning to discover herself, and was able to draw a wide audience. Fearless was a huge success not only in the United States, where six of its singles were certified platinum in the wake of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and you Belong with Me. But it also performed well around the globe. Swift was able to consolidate her progress by releasing Speak Now almost two year after. Swift's popularity continued to grow through her subsequent three albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) as well as Reputation (2017) -- and found her moving assuredly into the realm of pop in which she was already a part. She stayed in the forefront of pop even when she dropped her signature style in her twin albums Folklore and Evermore in the year 2020.
